When you are looking to secure your organisation's email, one of the biggest frustrations is unpredictable costs. Many security providers charge a fee for every single employee or inbox you create. At MailShield, we do things differently to keep your billing simple and fair: we charge per domain.
What is a domain?
A domain is the core internet address that comes after the '@' symbol in your email addresses. For example, if your team uses sarah@yourbusiness.com and info@yourbusiness.com, your domain is simply yourbusiness.com.
The benefits of this approach
Unlimited users and inboxes Whether you have five employees or five hundred, if they all use the same domain, your security cost remains exactly the same. You can hire new staff, create dedicated support addresses, or set up aliases without ever worrying about your monthly bill suddenly increasing.
Predictable budgeting Budgeting becomes incredibly straightforward. You are paying for the security shield placed in front of your company's network, rather than being penalised for growing your team.
How it works in practice
When you browse our subscription plans, you will see a standard monthly or annual price. This is the cost to protect one single domain.
If your organisation only has one web address, that listed price is your final cost. If you manage multiple brands or regional offices and need to protect three different domains (for example, a .com, a .co.ke, and a .net), your total cost will simply be that base price multiplied by three.
Growing your coverage
Business needs change over time. You might acquire a new brand or decide to retire an old web address. You can easily add or remove domains directly from your MailShield dashboard whenever you need to. Your billing will automatically adjust in the background to reflect the exact number of active domains you are currently securing, ensuring you only ever pay for what you use.
